SolarEur built the De Hoge Vaart solar park in Zeewolde, commissioned by Vattenfall. The farm has a capacity of 22.2 MWp with approximately 38,300 panels. The solar farm supplies sustainable energy to approximately 9,250 households and supports the regional energy transition.<\/p>\n
The solar farm covers 21 hectares, of which 15 hectares are solar panels and 6 hectares are nature development. Three test fields are located on the south side where Aeres University of Applied Sciences students are conducting research. The landscaping, incorporating alder hedgerows and herb-rich grassland, enhances biodiversity and harmonizes with the surrounding natural environment. The farm supplies approximately 9,250 households with sustainable energy.<\/p>\n
The integration of ecological test fields promotes knowledge development around environmentally friendly solar energy. The project demonstrates that large-scale energy generation can be effectively combined with landscape and ecological values.<\/p>\n
